The company has been manufacturing at its headquarters in Germany for almost 100 years, and the site in Poland was added 30 years ago. The company employs a total of 500 people, over 300 of whom work at the site in Poland. The company is part of a German holding company that specializes in the furniture industry.

Kurzprofil der Funktion

• Management, control and organization of technical company processes and operational services
• Technical and disciplinary management of the production/manufacturing and assembly departments as well as quality management
• Ensuring the qualification and further development of all employees in line with current and future requirements
• Responsible for project management for relevant further developments in the production environment
• Conceptual orientation of technology/production in close cooperation with the technical managing director, towards further digitization and networking with the continuous and sustainable optimization of the manufacturing processes used with the aim of the Smart Factory
• Control of the area through relevant KPIs
• Close exchange and cooperation with the Managing Directors and the Management Board of the holding company with regard to achieving the planned performance and quality targets

Anforderungsprofil

• Degree as an engineer (mechanical engineering) with a focus on manufacturing technology
• Experience in a management position at a furniture manufacturer or a similarly organized company
• Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes, lean production, logistics and quality methods in a highly customer-oriented production environment
• Knowledge of business economics and modern company management, in medium-sized companies and/or group structures
• Leadership personality with assertiveness and above-average motivational skills
• High level of project management expertise, comprehensive understanding of interfaces and interrelationships
• Business fluent in written and spoken German, Polish and English
